PRUDENTIAL CALIFORNIA REALTY ANNOUNCES
2004 CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT RESULTS
(MODESTO, California) Prudential California Realty’s (PCR) Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $13,000 for the Memorial Medical Center R.O.C.K. (Recreational Opportunities for Cancer Kids) Program. The announcement was made today by Craig C. Lewis, president/CEO of PCR.
This year’s event, which was held at Diablo Grande Golf Course on October 8, 2004, fielded a total of more than 80 golfers from various organizations and companies. In attendance for the event kick-off were Jim Robbins, Director of Advertising Services for the Modesto Bee, and Anita Talkington, the Director of R.O.C.K.
R.O.C.K. sponsors monthly activities for children being treated for, or recovering from, cancer. The recently established “Reach for the Stars” program provides children with cancer the opportunity for a special wish, such as a trip to Disneyland.
Monies raised through the golf tournament will fund future R.O.C.K. events for children involved in the program. Prudential California Realty and its sales associates are strong supporters of the R.O.C.K. program, raising more than $22,000 in the past 3 years.
“We commend the efforts of this year’s tournament directors, Carrie Cardoza, Scott Aberle, Barry Wadlow, Saul Carter, Andrea Lantz, Anita Talkington, Donna Pearson, Gina Arata, Kristy Johnson, Matt Frederick, Judi Becker, Donna Colby, Terri Coleman, Connie Lish, Jane Biddle, Dwayne Robers, Don Benjamin Jill Sazama, Ryan Severson,” said Craig C. Lewis. “The many hours of dedication on the part of the tournament directors, the involvement of our many sponsors too numerous to name, and ultimately, the contribution of the participants has resulted in more than $13,000 raised for the Memorial Hospital R.O.C.K. Program.”
