PRUDENTIAL CALIFORNIA REALTOR MARY PRIETO
RECEIVES GRANT FOR LOCAL CHARITY ORGANIZATION
(MODESTO, California) Mary Prieto, REALTOR® with Prudential California Realty Modesto, recently received a $500 grant to give to a charity of her choice for her accomplishments in placing among the 2006 Top Ten Producers in the Prudential Northern California regional network. Prieto chose to donate the $500 grant to the R.O.C.K. (Recreational Opportunities for Cancer Kids) Foundation through Memorial Hospital. The announcement was made by Craig C. Lewis, president and CEO of PCR.
The R.O.C.K. Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that provides special monthly activities for young children in our area who are being treated for, or are recovering from cancer. Prudential California Realty adopted the R.O.C.K. Foundation in January 2000 and began a program whereby each sales associate is able to contribute to the charity by designating a portion of his or her commissions to the R.O.C.K. Fund. Prieto has been a major contributor to the R.O.C.K. Foundation since its inception with Prudential California Realty.
"Since 2000, Mary has been one the top givers of the R.O.C.K. listing program and a major contributor at associated fund raising events," said Anita Talkington, Executive Director for the R.O.C.K. Foundation at Memorial Hospital. "Once again Mary has been given the recognition to award her charity of choice and she chose the R.O.C.K. She is my rock and I appreciate all Mary and the Prudential family have done for this organization."
Through the substantial agent support of the listing program and the success of the R.O.C.K. Golf Tournaments, Prudential California Realty has donated more than $80,000 in the past seven years.
